Students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 will participate in our residency with Alien In-line skating:
Students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 will be skating from January 7 - 13, 2025.
Students in Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2 will be skating from January 14 - 21, 2025.
Students will:
- receive in-line skating instruction in our school gymnasium
- have three, 55-minute instructional blocks with certified skating instructors
General Information
· all skates and safety equipment will be supplied to students; helmets are available if students do not have their own or forget to bring it to school
- if possible, students are encouraged to bring their own helmet from home to use for the residency (with safety sticker certification, ex. CSA, CPSC, etc.)
- acceptable helmets include: bicycle helmets, hockey helmets (no cage), skateboard helmets, ski/snowboard helmets.
- clearly label your child's helmet with their name and classroom
· students should wear socks during the week of their scheduled skating days; students without socks will not be permitted to participate
· students should bring extra socks in their backpack in case the weather is inclement (ie. to avoid having wet socks)
